Germaine Greer has said modern-day women such as Cheryl Cole and Katie Price are too thin to be feminist icons.
Germaine was speaking on Gordon Ramsay's Cookalong Live, which had a 1970s retro theme.
The Australian-born academic was discussing the subject of feminist icons - and while she described former glamour model Katie, also known as Jordan, as a "genius", she said a healthy girl should have a fat bottom.
Germaine said: "Cheryl Cole? No, there's not enough of her. She's too thin.
"I wish I could say Katie Price because I think the girl's a genius, except that I also think she's destroying herself... and that's not a pretty picture.
"A healthy girl is a fat-bottomed creature."
