Patrick Swayze's wife Lisa is proving an invaluable weapon in the star's fight against cancer.
"I think we were all very moved by the closeness and humour of their relationship," John Romano, producer of Patrick's new show The Beast told People magazine.
Lisa, Patrick's wife of 33 years, accompanied her husband to the Chicago set of the show every day.
"They're a creative partnership," said John. "After takes, he would go talk to the director, and then go talk to his wife, and say, 'What do you think?'
"She would lean in his ear," added they show's co-creator Bill Rotko, "They're each other's rocks."
